Longevity Weeks in Porto Cervo: the Program
From mindful walks to trail running, from swimming to holistic practices: Through the 11th, Porto Cervo is a vast space dedicated to sports and wellness
In Porto Cervo, wellness also involves physical activity. Through October 11, the Costa Smeralda Longevity Weeks 2026, organized by the Costa Smeralda Consortium in partnership with Smeralda Holding, offer a program that combines sports, outdoor activities, and practices focused on mental and physical balance, with events designed for athletes, families, and enthusiasts alike.
Following the opening on September 25 with padel and tennis tournaments, the program really gets underway with the Walking Experience & Mindfulness sessions, scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4, and then from October 8 through 11. The walks, organized primarily in Porto Paglia and, on October 10, also in Pevero as part of the Trail Run, combine physical activity, breathing exercises, body awareness, and guided meditation, transforming the Costa Smeralda landscape into a natural space dedicated to well-being.
From October 6 to 11, at Porto Vecchio, there will also be a Wellness area where you can book a free Technogym Checkup—a system that analyzes physical and cognitive parameters to determine your Wellness Age™.The program expands from October 8 to 11 with holistic disciplines hosted in the Longevity Pavilion, located in the Il Gabbiano parking lot at the entrance to Porto Cervo. Azul Dance, Hatha Yoga, Ecstatic Dance, Family Constellations, Mindfulness, Sound Bath, and Art Therapy with Intuitive Painting make up a calendar of experiences open even to those wishing to try these practices for the first time.
On Thursday, October 8, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a session open to the public will also offer the chance to meet the facilitators and learn more about the various disciplines.Sports also take center stage at the Waterfront Beach Arena in Porto Vecchio, where the national championships for women’s beach volleyball, beach tennis, beach soccer, and beach rugby will be held from October 8 to 11, with free admission for the public. The grand finale will feature competitions on land and at sea.
Saturday, October 10 will see the Porto Cervo Trail Run, featuring a 10-kilometer competitive race and more accessible routes open to everyone. Sunday, October 11 will be the turn of the Porto Cervo Swim, an open-water swimming race starting from Giglio Beach with 1,800- and 800-meter courses.Rounding out the weekend on October 10 and 11 is the Terra Mare Cup, which combines running on the natural trails of Pevero with swimming in the bay of Porto Cervo. It’s a different way to experience the Costa Smeralda off-season, when the landscape becomes the ideal setting to recharge, find balance, and enjoy physical activity.
All events during Longevity Weeks Costa Smeralda 2026 will be open to the public, offering the opportunity to enjoy a comprehensive and integrated wellness experience. Registration is required for the sports activities and competitions on the program: some require a small participation fee, while others are free. The public will also be able to attend the tournaments scheduled at the Beach Arena free of charge. Conference sessions, talks, and educational events will be free to attend, with the exception of the Steve McCurry awards ceremony, for which free reservations are required.
