Aperitifs in Porto Cervo: The Best Cocktail Bars to Visit

From signature cocktails to ocean-view terraces and glamorous atmospheres

There’s a moment when everything slows down. It’s aperitivo time, a ritual that’s a true way of life here. From the great classics to the most anticipated summer openings, here are the places to toast the sunset. Everything begins at the Cervo Bar at the Cervo Hotel in Piazzetta to sip on Botanica 64, a cocktail that offers a contemporary take on the Cervo Hotel’s original aperitifs, featuring fresh, citrusy botanical notes.

Among the storied venues is Nuna al Sole. Colourful, informal, and friendly, it’s the classic place to stop for a drink and find yourself there hours later, enjoying music, conversation, and sharing Mediterranean dishes. A little further on, Il Portico is the ideal place to sip custom cocktails in an elegant, timeless atmosphere.

The big news of the season is the arrival of the Langosteria on the Molo Vecchio. A waterfront restaurant with two terraces perched above the sea, offering spectacular views. Making its debut next door is Langosteria Ally’s Bar, a new venue dedicated to contemporary mixology. The drinks list, designed by bar manager Stefano Agostino, focuses on clean flavours and top quality ingredients for cocktails with an elegant personality. The signature drink to order? Il French 77,con Champagne Blanc de Blancs, Tanqueray 10, elderberry flowers and Partanna extra-virgin olive oil.

Among the more scenic addresses is Zuma Porto Cervo. From here, the view opens onto the marina and the Tyrrhenian Sea. Among the signature drinks to order is the Chilli & Passion Fruit Margarita, made with Casamigos Blanco, blood orange, passion fruit, vanilla, spicy agave, and lime: fresh, spicy, and perfectly summery.

Finally, there’s the iconic Hotel Cala di Volpe. The heart of the aperitif experience is the Atrium Bar, with terraces ‘dressed’ for the first time by Dolce&Gabbana, where you can order the quintessential signature drink, the Bellini. Served on one of Sardinia’s most beautiful terraces, it becomes an experience that captures all the magic of summer.
