Waterfront Costa Smeralda 2026
Until September 7, Porto Cervo is transformed into an oasis of sensory experiences among design, high fashion, contemporary art and environmental commitment
Waterfront Costa Smeralda 2026 extends its season until September 7, reaffirming its status as one of the Mediterranean’s most exclusive hubs for lifestyle, culture, and entertainment. Located in the heart of Porto Vecchio in Porto Cervo, the project by Smeralda Holding once again evolves its identity, transforming into an increasingly immersive space where design, art, and hospitality intertwine to create a single contemporary experience.
The project, developed and produced by Filmmaster on behalf of Smeralda Holding, a company indirectly controlled by the Qatar Investment Authority, reaffirms itself as an international platform capable of attracting global brands and an international audience.
Waterfront Costa Smeralda 2026The new concept for the 2026 edition stands out for a major redesign by architect Gio Pagani, who has reimagined the entire layout of the Waterfront by introducing more intimate and sophisticated lounges, characterized by a refined color palette and high-end materials. Reflective surfaces become scenographic elements that, at sunset, transform into light installations, helping to create an immersive and contemporary atmosphere.
Alongside design, art becomes one of the central languages of the new edition. The Portals project, curated by Deodato Arte, introduces four immersive installations that reinterpret the ephemeral nature of the Waterfront through a poetic and visual approach. Luminous geometric portals—squares, circles, and rhombuses—interact with works by international artists, generating a sensory experience composed of light, space, and perception in constant transformation.
Waterfront 2026 also reaffirms itself as a premier showcase for some of the most important international luxury and design brands. Among the new additions, Range Rover stands out, while established partners include Ferretti Group with Riva Lounge and Riva Boutique, Assouline with its collections dedicated to international lifestyle, Technogym with an area dedicated to contemporary wellness, Kiton, and Nikki Beach, which this year evolves into the new concept The Nikki Beach Cocktail Club with redesigned spaces and a concept dedicated to sunset cocktails and exclusive nightlife
AssoulineAlongside major international names, the event also highlights the local area, with Arzachena Turismo presenting a photo gallery dedicated to local attractions and a selection of artifacts from the Michele Ruzittu Civic Museum, as well as an information point dedicated to the entire region. The Costa Smeralda Boutique® rounds out the offering with items and collections inspired by the destination.
With the 2026 edition, the Waterfront Costa Smeralda thus consolidates its identity as an international hub of contemporary luxury, helping to redefine the destination’s role beyond the confines of the traditional summer season.
