Italia Polo Challenge 2025 in Porto Cervo

From July 17-20, the fifth edition of the internationally renowned tournament kicks off in a unique setting

From 17 to 20 July, Porto Cervo will host the 5th edition of the Italia Polo Challenge. The polo circuit is organised in collaboration with FISE (Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports) and with the support of the Sardinia Region and the Municipality of Arzachena, as well as an exceptional partner: Smeralda Holding. The competition is a key event in the programme of summer events on the island and will be held at the Andrea Corda sports field in Abbiadori, a stone’s throw away from Porto Cervo.

It will be inaugurated on Thursday 17 July with two parades in the piazzetta of Porto Cervo and in the municipality of Arzachena. The music band of the Sassari Brigade will accompany horses and riders during the parade. From 18 to 20 July starting from 8pm every day there will be matches in Abbiadori (two every night, the finals on Sunday).

The Hospitality area will be open from 6.30pm next to the sports field for guests and polo enthusiasts with a restaurant, food trucks and music to have a relaxing break from the games. The event will start with four teams who share the same enthusiasm and passion of the Italia Polo Challenge and FISE: making this sport accessible to everyone in locations normally hosting other sports events which are, however, temporarily turned into polo fields for this occasion.
