Christmas 2024 in Porto Cervo
Everything you don't want to miss including Christmas markets, ice skating rink, food outlets and events for young and old alike
After the great success of its first edition in 2023, Christmas in Porto Cervo returns to transform the famous Passeggiata of the Emerald Coast village into a charming Christmas village. From December 11, 2024, to January 6, 2025, the Christmas Markets welcome visitors and residents with a festive atmosphere filled with events and traditions.
The initiative, promoted by the Costa Smeralda Consortium with the support of Smeralda Holding, is part of the Incanto di Natale program by the Municipality of Arzachena, which enlivens the town and its villages with a wide range of activities throughout the holiday season.
For the 2024 edition, Porto Cervo enhances its Christmas program with an even more extensive and engaging calendar of events. Local associations – APS Porto Cervo, Li Montimulesi, Monticanaglia, the Santa Teresina Committee, the Stella Maris Parish, Gli Amici di Nemo, and Gli Amici del Sorriso – play a central role in the Christmas Markets, bringing life to the sixteen wooden chalets.
The stands host local artisans and producers, offering a rich selection of handcrafted creations and food and wine products, providing visitors with an authentic and unforgettable experience.
2024 Highlights
The 2024 edition introduces some unmissable new features: an ice-skating rink set up in Piazzetta degli Archi and a live pre-New Year’s Eve concert on December 29 in the Piazzetta, promising to enrich the Christmas experience for both adults and children.
“The constant synergy with the Municipality of Arzachena continues to create a diverse program of events for the destination during other seasons, aimed at the local community, our members, and tourists, whom we hope will visit in increasing numbers even in the winter season,” said Mario Ferraro, Vice President of the Costa Smeralda Consortium and CEO of Smeralda Holding. “This is a Christmas project that becomes richer and more engaging every year, thanks to the collaboration of all the stakeholders in our region who work with great enthusiasm towards its realization and success: the Municipality of Arzachena, the Costa Smeralda Consortium, the Smeralda Holding group, countless citizens, and many associations, to whom we extend our heartfelt thanks for their contributions.”
“A special thanks goes to Smeralda Holding, which this year once again decided to support the Municipality of Arzachena by contributing high-level events, such as the much-anticipated concert by a prominent artist. Collaboration with these organizations not only strengthens our region but also provides a unique opportunity to bring joy, culture, and shared experiences to residents and visitors,” said Roberto Ragnedda, Mayor of Arzachena.
