Porto Cervo Libri 2025: the full program of meetings with authors

All the events of the literary review of the summer among books, current affairs and culture

Literature, journalism, politics, and culture: this summer once again marks the return of Porto Cervo Libri, the cultural festival that lights up the evenings in Porto Cervo with prestigious guests and captivating conversations in the heart of its iconic piazzetta.

Organized by the Consorzio Costa Smeralda, the 2025 edition continues its journey through words and ideas with a schedule of events ranging from memoirs to current affairs and contemporary fiction. All events are free admission and take place at 7 p.m. in the picturesque setting of Sottopiazza in Porto Cervo.

Highlights of Summer 2025

  • July 23: Acclaimed writer Fulvio Abbate and Eleonora Vallone—daughter of actor Raf Vallone—present Quante vite per una? Le mie sette vite (Castelvecchi). Moderated by journalist and author Irene Bozzi Vecchioni.

  • July 28: Former RAI London correspondent Antonio Caprarica presents Kate e la maledizione dei Galles (Sperling & Kupfer), moderated by Maria Cristina Bigongiali, journalist for RAI’s Porta a Porta.

  • July 30: Journalist Sergio Rizzo presents 2027. Fuga dalla democrazia (Solferino) at La Spiaggetta in Porto Cervo.

  • August 4: TV presenter Marzia Roncacci (Tg2 Italia Europa) presents L’invidia del pene. Does Freud’s theory still make sense today? I never wanted to be born a man (Serradifalco). Moderated by Nunzia De Girolamo, host of Ciao Maschio on RAI 1.

  • August 7, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm: journalist Fausto Farinelli, in the year of the Aga Khan's passing, traces the history and key steps in the birth and growth of Costa Smeralda® starting with an unpublished interview with the Prince in 1987. Costa Smeralda®. Il sogno del principe Aga Khan attraverso il racconto di chi lo ha vissuto e ne custodisce l’eredità, published by Gruppo Editoriale is the story of a dream through its protagonists, heard by the author in a long dialogue flanked by beautiful unpublished photos. The meeting will be moderated by journalist and publisher Matteo Parigi Bini.

  • August 27: Renowned actor Andrea Roncato presents his memoir Ti avrei voluto (Excelsior), moderated by Pamela D’Amico, host and author for RAI Radio 1.

  • August 30: Gallura-born journalist Giuseppe Scarpa (La Repubblica) presents Roma criminale (Newton Compton), moderated by Davide Mosca, editor-in-chief of olbianotizie.it.

Porto Cervo Libri reaffirms Sardinia’s cultural soul, seamlessly blending glamour with intellectual depth, and art with current affairs.
