Achille Lauro sings under the stars in Arzachena
The Sardinian New Year's Eve with a special guest
Arzachena welcomed 2026 under a splendid star: the Biagio Pirina Stadium, transformed for the occasion into an arena for major events, was the beating heart of New Year's Eve, with Achille Lauro taking center stage for a two-hour performance. Tens of thousands of fans came from all over Italy to heat up the Gallurese night, which also saw the appearance of another star, Salmo, who made a surprise backstage guest appearance at Arzachena’s New Year celebration. The evening kicked off at 8 PM, when DJ Diva’s energy began to warm up the crowd, turning the stadium’s field into a dance floor under the stars. Despite the biting temperatures, the excitement remained sky-high.
Achille Lauro - Arzachena At 10 PM, one of the most versatile and charismatic artists of the contemporary Italian music scene took the stage. Achille delivered a showcase of his greatest hits: from Amor to Bam Bam Twist, from Marilù to Incoscienti giovani, ending with “Goodbye, see you soon Arzachena” shouted just moments before midnight. Not just a party, but a true explosion of energy from a performer who builds a sophisticated, never predictable dialogue around his roots, reaching straight to the hearts of young people.
Achille Lauro - Concerto Following the countdown led by Mayor Roberto Ragnedda, 20 minutes of fireworks lit up the sky with choreographed lights and colors. Dance music from the group Passione a 90 closed the celebration. “It’s a winning bet. Seeing the stadium full and feeling this energy shows that Arzachena is ready for major international events at any time of the year,” said Arzachena’s mayor, Roberto Ragnedda.
